Join us in April or May for pre-season kayak paddling that gets us ready for the season. There will be 2 sessions - one for training, the second for excursions. Take one or both!
Our 4-week Spring Training program is dedicated to getting enthusiastic paddlers with the appropriate experience levels back out on the water for focused training. Training will include reviewing general safety protocols and personal paddling skills with opportunities to practice. An added component of this program is the physical preparation aspect for the upcoming season with considerations for strength and conditioning for paddlers. The Training Program will run for 4 Saturdays in April.
Our 4-week Spring Excursions program offers opportunities to get out on the water in a group setting and progressively cover some distances in preparation for the season. The excursions can be joined independently or can act as a continuation and compliment the Spring Training program for those inclined to do both. The wind, weather and conditions will ultimately decide on how far and long we go for the days’ excursion, in balance with the groups’ goals and energy levels. There will be opportunities for practicing paddling skills during the excursions along with re-establishing safety protocols for group travel. The Excursion Program will run for 4 Sundays in May.
