No paddling experience required, but come prepared to paddle!

Come and explore the 13 Toronto Island archipelago in historic voyageur canoe replicas. This is the easiest and most affordable way to provide your students with a unique and safe paddling experience.  We supply an experienced guide to steer the big canoe and teach some paddling techniques.

Our guided Voyageur Canoe Excursion works very well with large groups crossing the inner Toronto harbour paddling to the Toronto Islands.  These highly stable boats were originally designed to carry people and goods across Canada. We now use them to transport guests throughout the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands, visiting bird sanctuaries and enjoying the island landscape and Toronto’s skyline from the water.

A round-trip excursion to the Islands and back takes approximately 1 hour, with an opportunity for a washroom break at Centre Island.
