Guided Big Voyageur Canoe Tour

Gather at least 8 friends, family or colleagues together to paddle and explore the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands, while enjoying the city skyline from the water.

 Price

$ $40-50 +HST per person

 Tour Includes

  • Paddle & lifejacket.
  • Certified and experienced guide.

No paddling experience required but come prepared to paddle and have fun!

Experience part of Canada’s Heritage by transporting back to the days of the Voyageur Explorers as you embark with one of our certified experienced guides on a relaxing excursion, travelling in historic voyageur canoe replicas that can carry 8 to 18 paddlers. These highly stable boats were originally designed to carry people and goods across Canada. Now your group of paddlers will be guided throughout the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands, exploring secluded beaches and bird sanctuaries while enjoying the Island landscape and City skyline from the water.

We spend 30 minutes on-land with a session in safety and paddling orientation. We depart from the Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Docks and at a leisurely pace, spend 2 hours crossing the inner harbour and exploring the many channels and lagoons while enjoying the Island landscape and City skyline from the water. During the tour, there will be a short stop on the Islands to stretch the legs and use the washrooms. In case of windy conditions in the Harbour, we may transport the group to our Island Docks via our pontoon boats to start and end your excursion.

Minimum 8 participants required. Discount for 13 or more participants. Book your private group now!
