Enjoy a guided tour across the harbour to explore the bird sanctuaries & lagoons of this special archipelago in a 2-person kayak! (We can welcome an odd number/one person kayak.) Normally this tour starts & finishes city side but one way tours either direction ($) or a start & finish on the islands can be arranged ($).
After a short ‘how to paddle’ orientation, your experienced guide will plan a route across the harbour depending on the groups’ ability and conditions on the day. The journey to the island is approx 25 mins each way thus there is plenty of time to explore the islands. A washroom break can be facilitated if required.
Do you need help with food options / meeting place / a picnic location? How about logistics support chartering our pontoon motorboats?

Guided Voyageur Canoe Tour

Embark on a unique Canadiana experience by exploring the beautiful 13 islands archipelago in replicas of historic voyageur canoes. Originally designed to transport people and goods across Canada, this is the easiest and most affordable way to explore the lagoons & bird sanctuaries while enjoying the wonderful panorama of the city skyline.
We have 7 large ‘Voyageur’ canoes with different passenger capacities. Each canoe also has a guide seat at the stern/back of the canoe. We can welcome up to 84 participants in a paddling seat position at the same time…more if we have people sit in the middle of the wider bench seats.
Most groups start/finish city side on a 2 ½ hour program but we can customise duration & start/end location. A one way tour (either direction can be arranged) is approximately 2 hours and, again, we can adjust duration.
