By Water By Land Island Adventure
Recommend Group Size: 8 – 100
Your group will meet at the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre where, after a brief orientation, you will travel to the Toronto Islands in voyageur canoes. The group will explore the 13 islands, via the many channels and lagoons that connect them.
Throughout this tour, participants will learn about the flora, fauna, and incredible history of the islands before taking a well deserved break. After a snack or pre-planned meal, the group can then decide to either explore the islands by land using the Island Bike Rentals or by foot. Alternatively, the group can continue to tour the islands by water in the voyageur canoes.
At the end of the adventure your group can return to the mainland in the voyageur canoes or by using the island ferry system which is free to return to the mainland.
Team sizes can range from 8 to 17.
This is a full-day event though the duration can be customized.
