We have wonderful ideas for fun group dynamics, and to bring your group together. For over 25 years, we have provided our huge Voyageur Canoes, tandem canoes, kayaks, leadership, insurance, skills, and knowledge of wonderful location to thousands of people at great value. The 13 Toronto Islands are on our doorstep with secluded beaches, bird sanctuaries, washrooms, and picnic areas. Call us anytime to discuss group packages available and pricing.

Your group meets at the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre facilities to be met by our friendly staff and shown into your fleet of kayaks. Your kayak instructor goes over some basic paddle techniques to help facilitate the journey, then you are lead by the instructor through the inner harbour of Toronto towards our destination on the majestic Toronto Islands.

Our Events can take on many forms; from exciting head-to-head races or single challenges, to leisurely paddles through the Toronto Island Archipelago- all you need to do is choose!

This is, by far our most popular event! In a similar format to a certain popular television show, teams travel to various locations across the Islands completing tasks in order to gain their next clue. The first team to complete the entire race is declared the overall winner. We’ve observed that teams who truly work together typically excel in this event.

Teams are handed a passport, map, compass and a few other specialty items. With only a certain amount of time, use these items in order to collect information and perform small tasks on your way to the finish line. But be warned! There are more tasks than time permits so group strategy must be used as certain tasks are worth more points than others, and penalties are charged for teams arriving late to the finish line.

3 hr Tandem Kayak Tours of the Toronto Islands (Monday - Friday) - Call in to reserve your seat!) $95 per person.

Come join us for a 3 hour interpretive tour of the Toronto Islands and be "closer to nature". This journey will take you to various areas of the 13 Islands archipelago where you will learn about the vast history, the flora and fauna, and current environmental initiatives of this evolving eco-space. Your program will involve a brief orientation, safety talk, approximately 2 hours of paddling with opportunities to get out and stretch your legs.

An affordable and relaxed option. These highly stable boats were originally designed to carry people and goods across Canada; we now use them to transport your team throughout the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands- a small paradise in Toronto’s own backyard

NEW Sunset Voyageur Canoe Tours (Monday to Sunday Evenings departing our docks at 7pm), returning at 10ish pm) - $85

Come join us for a relaxing tour of the Toronto Islands! The goal is to set out and have beautiful tour in the island with our ultimate destination of the sandy beaches on Hanlans Island in time for the setting sun. These beaches are front row seats to the setting sun along the city skyline. We will bring some blankets, some hot chocolate and some good laughs. To top off the night see the inner harbour in a very different light as we light up our boat and head back with a night paddle. No previous paddling experience is required.
