Rental Policy

Rentals open this Sat May 18 to the public. Our rental policy is that if the water temperature is above 12C then you don't need to bring your own wetsuit. The water temperature can fluctuate and go down especially if the harbour experiences strong winds that churn the cold water up from the bottom. We will post water conditions daily at the top of our home page here and we are taking reservations in the office by email or phone. Please check the website or call down to the office the day of your rental for water and wind conditions. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all our renters, we will conduct a short checkout paddling assessment to ensure your paddling abilities match the day's expected conditions. We thank you for your understanding.

Lake Superior Guided Kayak Trip Aug. 30 - Sept. 8, 2012 (10 Days)

Canada and USA

Harbourfront Adventures is happy to announce a guided kayaking trip to the magical waters of Lake Superior. This 10-day trip will be based from both the north and south shores of this great lake and will involve a trip across the border into the US – so, you will need your passports. We will be kayaking the beautiful landscape around Wawa, ON as well as the breathtaking shores of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Upper Michigan. This is a great adventure to go and use those kayaking skills you have been honing all these years. Lodging will be motel/cabin based. Go to Harbourfront Adventures for details.

California: Yosemite, Big Sur, Montery, and San Francisco
Oct 11-21, 2012 (11 Days)

Harbourfront Adventures is going to California! Our hiking trip willvisit Yosemite National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – a place that has inspired countless people from artists to conservationists topoliticians alike. The second half of the trip will be based in the Carmel / Monterrey / Big Sur coastal area. We will explore this picturesque coast of sea lions, otters, and beautiful beaches. Come and explore thebeauty of these places, but most of all come to be inspired. The trip will start and end in San Francisco with the tour visiting the northernhills that overlook the Golden Gate Bridge, and of course the Pier 39 area. We recommend that you extend your trip and visit many of the local sites like Alcatraz that make this such a vibrant city.
